After a long, rainy hike, Hotel Rubín was a welcoming sight. The friendly night receptionist swiftly checked us in, offering a warm welcome drink to chase away the chill. The location was central, with convenient free parking - a boon after a tiring day. Our cozy room featured free WiFi, essential after being off the grid all day.The restaurant on the first floor served up delicious comfort food, perfect for replenishing our energy. Despite mixed reviews, our stay was delightful - perhaps our tired state and the delivery pizza added to the charm. The staff, fluent in multiple languages, were attentive and made us feel at home. And the option to stay with our furry companions was a definite plus.In the morning, we enjoyed a hearty à la carte breakfast before heading out to explore nearby sights like the Church of St Francis of Assisi in Hervartov. The 24-hour front desk and luggage storage made our stay stress-free, ensuring we could make the most of our time in this historic area. Hotel Rubín may not be lavish, but for a budget-friendly stay in a convenient location, it certainly exceeded our expectations.
